Let the Party Begin!

“Fins” is a party band that performs lots of Jimmy Buffet as well as other tropical/jam rock covers from a variety of bands.  Besides their affection for Buffet music the band also likes to entertain the audience and get them involved in the show. There are times when the audience will go from shouting “sha la la la” during “Brown Eyed Girl” to shouting “Dayo” when the moment arrives.  Don’t be surprised if you’re invited on stage to sing back-up or play percussion instruments while doing the “Volcano” dance!
They have performed at many festivals as the featured and as opening act for Charlie Daniels at Hampton Bay Days their first year together. They have also opened for The Fabulous Thunderbirds and backed up Fingers Taylor himself!
They are fully equipped with the latest sound and lighting equipment and are self contained for events up to 2500 people.

Fins Members

Warren Seaburg

Warren is the front man and does most of the singing and interaction with the audience. His creative conversation between songs and quick wit has earned him numerous entertainer awards including Portfolio Magazine Entertainer of the Year nomination and 3 consecutive MEONA Entertainer of the Year awards. He has also been nominated for best guitarist in Hampton Roads by MEONA. He produced a solo album and has been a session guitarist on several regional projects. He has also won an ASCAP songwriting award. If you visited the Virginia Beach Oceanfront between 1987 and 2002 it’s likely that you’ve seen a crowd around one of his solo shows at one of the stages or patios on the boardwalk. He spent 13 years at the 11th Street patio where the restaurant changed hands 6 times but Warren remained the common thread. Performing on acoustic and electric guitars Warren goes from the finger-stylings of James Taylor to the Buffet standards on Acoustic guitar before switching to electric to finish out the night with tinges of trop-rock, trop-jazz and blues. He has shared the stage with Firefall, Charlie Daniels, Chuck Mangionne and Robbin Thompson.

Robert Hart

Oddly enough, Robert Hart played his first gig on drums at the ripe age of 12. Robert is a well seasoned player and has been performing in the Hampton Roads area for most of his career. Robert has performed with numerous popular bands in the area to include, The Snard Brothers, The Chobes, The Blues X Change, The Mike Clark Blues Band, Shiloh USA, The Sligo Studio Band and The Parrott Head Party Band, just to name a few. He participated in the Marlboro Talent Search and made it all the way to the finals. Robert holds down lead vocals while singing with enthusiasm. A dynamic drummer he prides himself on being able to take the drums from a whisper to roar while getting people to groove and dance. Robert enjoys seeing the audience have a great time while having a great time himself.
